Nazi Flag

Ever since World War 1, Germany has felt discouraged because of their brutal loss against the Allies. A young man, Adolf Hitler, believed the main reason why Germany lost the war was because people from the Jewish religion caused everything to happen; for example he said that Jewish or "Jews" were all communists and created the Great Depression, and controlled Germany. Hitler created a large group called the Nazis, also called the Third Reich which means the Third Empire. The flag of the Nazis was a Swastika, a strong symbol that was used many years before World War 2 and had very many different meaning. In some religions it meant peace and was carefully viewed. It was also used by the Aryans 3,000+ years ago. Hitler although, did not use the symbol to spread the meaning of peace, he used the symbol to show how strong the Nazis were and used the symbol to show his main aspects through the main colors used in the flag.
The Nazis based their group off of race, religion, heritage, etc. Hitler specifically described the type of people to look for in Germany and put them in camps. They created facilities that tortured people and made them work and most people in those facilities would starve to death or are worked to death and sometimes a lot of people were killed by soldiers. When searching Germany, they looked for men who were Jewish or family members who were of Jewish religion. "Concentration camps" were very brutal and showed no mercy, because Hitler despised the Jewish people he wanted all of them (starting in Germany) eliminated. The only obstacle Germany had, was other countries disagreeing or them fighting to keep their land.
The United States, France, Great Britain, and the USSR also known as Russia were known as the ones in the way of Germany going through with their plans of extinguishing the "Jews". The reason why Britain and France declared war on Germany was because after World War 1 they still gave them some space to roam but on September 1, 1939 German troops crossed the Polish border and attacked with the first Blitzkrieg in the world. At the beginning the Polish army believed they could fight off the Nazis but they based their army off of calvary and their tactics are still from World War 1. Russia joined the war with Britain and France in 1939 because Germany invaded them and they wanted them to leave but they were not strong enough. Same reason for the United States, the U.S. felt threatened and needed to take action to prevent their country being invaded.
As much as powerful Germany was during the War they needed assistants, and with that they joined together with many small countries but the main ones were Italy and North Africa. Italy, who was led by Mussolini, joined the Germans and created the "Axis". North Russia however, did not necessarily "join" the Axis but instead was taken over by the Italians and was used as battlegrounds. Japan in World War 2 was also against the Allies and did fight with the Axis powers but was not considered part of the group because they never worked too much with Germany.
Nazi Germany was known for their strong foreign policies and the ways they fought in battle. The war lasted from 1939-1945.
